SMS Terms & Opt-In
What this program is
Slot'd is booking software used by independent service providers (coaches and trainers, personal-care pros, and property & outdoor pros). When you book an appointment with a provider on Slot'd, that provider can send you transactional text messages about your own appointment — sent through Slot'd's messaging provider, Twilio. This is a transactional program: we do not send marketing or promotional texts.
Text messaging is a paid-plan feature. If your provider is on Slot'd's free plan they cannot send texts at all, and you will receive appointment confirmations and reminders by email only. Nothing you need is withheld — only the channel differs.
Message types you may receive
- Booking confirmations when you reserve a time.
- Appointment reminders before your visit.
- Reschedule, cancellation, and other changes to your appointment.
How you opt in
Opt-in happens on a provider's booking page on slotd.app. After you pick a time, you reach a details step where you enter your name, email, and phone number. Your phone number is optional — and providing it (and opting into texts) is not a condition of booking or payment; you can book and receive email instead. When a provider has appointment texts turned on, entering a mobile number there is how you consent to receive the transactional appointment texts described above, and the disclosure shown below appears directly above the button that submits your booking.
Providers who do not use texts never show that disclosure and never send you a text. Appointment texts are off unless a provider turns them on, so on those booking pages there is no consent checkbox, because there is nothing to consent to — those bookings are confirmed by email. This page describes the opt-in wherever texting is in use.

Providing a phone number is optional — you can complete the booking with email only.
What a client sees at the “Your Details” step
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive transactional SMS about your appointment (confirmations, reminders, and changes) from this provider via Slot'd. Message frequency varies. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your appointment activity — typically a confirmation when you book plus one or more reminders before the appointment, and a message if your appointment changes.

Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier and plan.
How to opt out or get help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time; you will receive a final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or email support@lawndart.dev. Opting out of texts does not cancel your appointment — you will still receive email updates.
Privacy
No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS opt-in/consent — is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and SMS opt-in data is never sold. Mobile numbers are used only to deliver the transactional messages you opted into. For full details see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
